Robert Williamson, DDS, MS was born in Glasgow, Scotland, where he resided until attending college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. After completing his undergraduate studies, he moved to San Antonio, Texas to attend dental school. Throughout his time in San Antonio, Dr. Williamson was involved in multiple humanitarian missions to Mexico, providing dental treatment to children in Mexico’s border towns. He received his D.D.S. in 2005 from the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio. Dr. Williamson and his family then moved to Columbus, Ohio where he completed his specialty training and Master of Science degree at Columbus Children’s Hospital and Ohio State University.
Dr. Williamson is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has hospital privileges at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas and Plano, and Heritage Park and Wilson N. Jones Hospitals in Sherman. Additionally, he is a part-time Clinical Professor at Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Williamson has four children. He enjoys golf, soccer, travel, missions work and spending time with his family.
